The large cities

Do you feel like paying a visit to one of the large cities of the Netherlands? Leiden, The Hague, Haarlem, Rotterdam and Amsterdam are quickly and easily reached by car or public transport from Koningshof. In addition to hours of retail therapy, there are various attractions in these cities that warrant a visit.

How about Leiden? The birthplace of Rembrandt with its many exquisite almshouses, various museums such as Museum De Lakenhal, the Dutch National Museum of Antiquities, Museum of History of Science & Medicine and Corpus Experience and array of pleasant shops is worthy of a day trip. In The Hague, you can visit Madurodam, the Peace Palace, or the government buildings. Of course, you can also spend a day sunbathing on the beach of Scheveningen, or parading along the promenade. Do not overlook our capital. You can get to Amsterdam by train within 45 minutes. Visit Madame Tussauds, walk through shopping area "De Negen Straatjes", have a look at the Anne Frank House or shop in the Kalverstraat. Amsterdam certainly warrants a visit.
